Incorrect : I ate some medicine for my cold. 


Correct : I took some medicine for my cold.


Incorrect : He opened the window and ate a breath of fresh air. 


Correct : He opened the window and took a breath of fresh air.


Incorrect : Would you eat some tea? 


Correct : Would you take some tea?


Incorrect : What time do you usually take? 


Correct : What time do you usually eat?
