Common errors in English: Usage of Made of and Made from

Made of and Made from


Incorrect : This table is made from wood. 


Correct : This table is made of wood. .


Incorrect : Bread is usually made of wheat. 


Correct : Bread is usually made from wheat.


Note: When the material can still be seen, you should use “made of’ and when the material can no longer be seen you should use "made from'.
