Common errors in English: Usage of Good and Well (Different Between Good and Well)

Good and Well


Incorrect : I did good in the exam. 


Correct : I did well in the exam. Or My exam was good. 


Note : Good is an adjective and cannot be used as an adverb. Well is the adverbial form of good. When well is used as an adjective, it means 'in good health’. For example, you can say:


I am very well.
