Common errors in English: Usage of Fear and Afraid (Different Between Fear and Afraid)

 Fear and Afraid


Incorrect : He does not afraid anybody. 


Correct : He does not fear anybody. Or He is not afraid of anybody.


Note : Afraid is always used as a predicative adjective. Fear can be a verb or noun. You can say:


I have a great fear of fire.
