Common error in English: Usage of Like and want

Like and want

Incorrect : Would you want a cup of tea?

Correct : Would you like a cup of tea?

Incorrect : I would want to give you some advice.

Correct : I would like to give you some advice.

Incorrect : Do you like any help from me?

Correct : Do you want any help from me?

Note: "I want to' is rather a strong way of expressing a wish, and it may not seem polite to the person you are speaking to.
