Arthritis Arthritis is a term often used to mean any disorder that affects joints. Symptoms generally include joint pain and stiffness. Turmeric: Take 500 mg to 1,000 mg turmeric capsules three times per day or drink fresh turmeric juice. 2. Ginger: Take a half-teaspoon of powdered ginger or up to 30 grams (about 6 teaspoons) of fresh ginger once a day. 3. Apple Cider Vinegar: Mix one teaspoon each of apple cider vinegar and honey in a cup of warm water. Drink it daily in the morning. 4. Epsom Salt: Add two cups of Epsom salt to warm bath water and soak in it. 5. Cinnamon: Make a paste of cinnamon and honey and massage it gently on the painful area. 6. Cherries: Eat eight to 10 cherries daily. You can use canned, frozen or fresh cherries depending upon which is easily available.
