Incorrect : This book deals in common errors in English.


Correct : This book deals with common errors in English.


Incorrect : My brother deals with medicine. 


Correct : My brother deals in medicine.


Note: "To deal with’ means to have to do with. It may also mean ‘to do business with’ or "to arrange a matter'. For example:


You should not deal with such a dishonest man. 

The chairman will deal with this question.

But ‘to deal in' means “buy and sell'.
