Common errors in English: Usage of To and At

 To and At


Incorrect : They go at school every day. 


Correct : They go to school every day.


Incorrect: Someone is standing to the door. 


Correct : Someone is standing at the door.


Note: "To" is usually used to express motion from one place to another, whereas “at” denotes position or rest.
