Common errors in English: Usage of No article after “whose”

 No article after “whose”


Incorrect : The boy whose a/the book is missing is crying.


Correct : The boy whose book is missing is crying.


Note: No article is required after the relative pronoun “whose', because the relative pronoun takes the place of the article.
