Common errors in English: Usage of Let + bare infinitive

 Let + bare infinitive


Incorrect : Please let me to go out. 


Correct: Please let me go out.


Note: The verb "let' is always followed by a bare infinitive. But "allow" is followed by a "to-infinitive". For example:


He allowed me to go out.
