Incorrect : I spent two hours and half there.
Correct: I spent two hours and a half there. Or I spent two and a half hours there.
Incorrect : She bought a kilo and half of rice.
Correct : She bought a kilo and a half of rice.
Note: In the above expressions, the indefinite article “a” before "half” is obligatory. It cannot be left out.
