Same and Similar
Incorrect : He sits on the similar chair every day.
Correct : He sits on the same chair every day.
Incorrect : The two cats are same in appearance.
Correct : The two cats are similar in appearance.
Note: Same suggests things that are completely unchanged or exactly alike. Similar suggests things that are alike in most ways, but not in every detail.
