Its and It’s
Incorrect: The house has lost it's glory.
Correct : The house has lost its glory.
Incorrect : Its a big house.
Correct : It's a big house.
Note: It's is the contracted form of “it is' but its without apostrophe is the possessive form of an adjective. The possessive adjectives hers, ours, yours and theirs also do not take any apostrophe.
