Adverbials after the object
Incorrect : He prepared well his lesson.
Correct : He prepared his lesson well.
Incorrect : She wrote yesterday her assignment.
Correct : She wrote her assignment yesterday.
Note: With a transitive verb, the adverb generally comes after the object. However, if the object is long, the adverb may come before it. For example:
He has done well all the work he had in his hand.
