Common errors in English: Usage of Verb+s/es.

Verb + s/es


Incorrect : He speak English very fluently. 


Correct : He speaks English very fluently.


Incorrect : Alan go to school regularly. 


Correct : Alan goes to school regularly.


Note: In the simple aspect of the present tense, the action verb takes 's/es’ inflection, when the subject is a noun or pronoun in the third person and singular number. In this case, the 's/es’ of the verb should not be left out.
