Common errors in English: Usage of But'” as subject

 “But'” as subject


Incorrect : There is no mother loves her child. 


Correct : There is no mother but loves her child. Or There is no mother who does not love her child.


Note: In the first correct sentence above 'but’ means ‘who does not’. This sentence means that every mother loves her child.
