Ask + object
Incorrect : He asked to the teacher about it.
Correct : He asked the teacher about it.
Note: "Ask” here means "put a question to.' It can be followed by a noun or pronoun object. "Inquire/enquire' is another verb for questions. But it is formal and is not followed by a noun or pronoun object. You can say:
He enquired where I lived.
