Home remedy and natural treatment of Black Eye

Black Eye A black eye, periorbital hematoma, or shiner, is bruising around the eye commonly due to an injury to the face rather than to the eye. The name is given due to the color of bruising. The so-called black eye is caused by bleeding beneath the skin and around the eye. ❄ Swelling ❄ Pain ❄ Black, blue, red or greenish colour around the eye ❄ Blurred vision ❄ Inability to move the eye ❄ Headache ❄ Face injury ❄ Facelifts ❄ Cosmetic surgery ❄ Jaw surgery ❄ Bug bites ❄ Skin infection around the eye ❄ Allergic reactions 1. Ice Pack: Wrap ice cubes in a clean cotton or muslin cloth. Hold it over the eye for about 10 minutes. Repeat the process several times a day. 2. Warm Compress: Take a towel and immerse it in the warm water. Apply it on the eye. Repeat the same process several times a day. 3. Vitamin C: Take Vitamin C foods such as Indian gooseberries, guavas, peppers, limes, lemons, broccoli, mangoes and oranges. 4. Calendula: Take calendula petals and boil them in a cup of water. Apply the resultant solution with the help of a washcloth or towel, twice a day. 5. Oatmeal: Soak some oatmeal in warm water and apply the paste so formed on the eye, to soothe the skin and reduce the swelling. Repeat it for about 5-6 days. 6. Arnica: Take the oil of arnica and apply it on the black eye. You can also use any cream, which contains arnica oil. This will cure the black eye really fast.
