Common errors in English: Usage of Correct : It was a terrible accident.

Terrible and Terrific


Incorrect : It was a terrific accident. 


Correct : It was a terrible accident.


Incorrect : It was a terrible party; we enjoyed it very much. 


Correct : It was a terrific party; we enjoyed it very much.


Note: Terrible means extremely severe but terrific means very good and enjoyable.
