Found and Founded
Incorrect : The lost goods have not been founded.
Correct : The lost goods have not been found.
Incorrect : This school was found in 1960.
Correct : This school was founded in 1960.
Note : “Found' is the past participle form of “find'. The verb “to found' means “to establish' and its part
participle form is “founded'. Its past tense is also “founded'.
