Common errors in English: Usage of Plenty and Plentiful

 Plenty and Plentiful


Incorrect : There is a plenty supply of oranges this year.


Correct: There is a plentiful supply of oranges this year.


Incorrect : I have plentiful of work to do. 


Correct: I have plenty of work to do.


Note : Plenty is not an adjective, but a noun which means a large number or amount. Plentiful is an adjective which means enough in quantity.
