Common errors in English: Usage of Light and Lightly (Different Between Light and Lightly)

 Light and Lightly


Incorrect . It is raining very light. 


Correct : It is raining very lightly.


Incorrect: We enjoyed the lightly wind. 


Correct: We enjoyed the light wind.


Note : Light is an adjective which means “not heavy/strong” and lightly is an adverb which means “not heavily'.
