Foot and leg
Incorrect : I stepped on a thorn and hurt my leg.
Correct : I stepped on a thorn and hurt my foot.
Incorrect : I hurt a toe of my right leg.
Correct : I hurt a toe of my right foot.
Incorrect: A chair has four feet.
Correct : A chair has four legs.
Note: Leg refers to the part of the body from the hip down to the ankle, and foot is the part below the ankle. You can however say:
The legs of a table and the foot of a hill.
