Common errors in English: Usage of Conjunction in an adverbial clause

 Conjunction in an adverbial clause


Incorrect : I was while walking, I saw a snake.


Correct : While I was walking, I saw a snake.


Note: The conjunction introducing an adverbial clause must be placed at the beginning of the clause. However, you can say: 


Hardworking though he was, he could not make enough money to buy a car.
