Common errors in English: Usage of From and Since

 From and Since


Incorrect : It has been raining from morning. 


Correct : It has been raining since morning.


Incorrect : They will work since Monday. 


Correct: They will work from Monday.


Note: 'Since' denotes a past point of time and is usually used in present and past perfect tenses. It is never used in the future tense.
