Common errors in English: Usage of Taller/Harder and Than.

Taller/Harder + than


Incorrect: Zinnia is taller from her mother. 


Correct : Zinnia is taller than her mother.


Incorrect : He works harder from me. 


Correct : He works harder than me.


Note: The comparative form of an adjective or adverb is always followed by the preposition “than” and not by “from”.
