Common errors in English: Usage of treamble in.

Tremble (= shake/shiver)


Incorrect . He was trembling in/from cold. 


Correct . He was trembling with cold.


Note: ‘Shake’ and ‘shiver’ are also followed by ‘with’. 


For example:


The thief was shaking with fear. 

The boys are shivering with cold.
