Incorrect : Our company is in front of theirs.
Correct : Our company is ahead of theirs.
Incorrect : The man ahead of me looked sick.
Correct: The man in front of me looked sick.
Note: "Ahead of” means "in a better position than', whereas ‘in front of’ means “on the front side of “.
